Birthday Party for the Princesses!

On Saturday October 25th we went to Alex and Jaelee's birthday party in Lehi. Those two little girls had a great time chasing their cousins around the yard, eating sloppy joes and potato chips, opening a MOUNTAIN of gifts, and gobbling up cupcakes and icecream.

Jaelee is showing off her new purse. She is "fee" years old now!

Alex has some new crafts to build with this kit. She is 6 years old!

Autumn Leaves

On Sunday afternoon Sean and Toni and I went up in the mountains to take pictures of the autumn leaves. Our mountains are so colorful with red, yellow and orange leaves mixed in with green. It's a beautiful time of year and we enjoyed hiking around and trying to take the "perfect" picture.

Well, I better get caught up again on this blog. Life seemed to stand still the end of August into September as my mom's cancer was ending her life. Joyce Slack Beckstrand passed away on September 10, 2008 at 8:20 a.m. in the Fillmore Community Medical Center. Mom has left a giant hole in my heart and my life will be so different now that she won't be here to talk to me every day, but she would expect me to carry on and continue to be strong. So be it.
